Tina gave me a beautiful quilt top that she wanted a semi-custom panto with border on. She picked out Karlee Porter's Spirals Dark to go on the HST rows and wanted them to be contained in each row. For the border she chose a very simple piano key border. The batting is Quilter's Dream Cotton Select loft with Superior Threads So Fine 50 weight thread in the color Snow. I love how this turned out ... especially seeing the lovely pieced backing with large flying geese. It's a wonderful quilt!
The back looks like the icing on a cake. The simple piano key border really sets off the spirals nicely.
It's fun to see the light shining through the quilt from underneath the frame. Those huge flying geese are the perfect addition to this quilt.
